英國一新聞調查社Bureau for Investigative Journalism估計，美國自2004年以來使用無人飛機在巴基斯坦殺害了至少3105人，其中多為平民，僅有少於2%的受害者為原先預設之高階目標。無人飛機的使用頻率和傷害規模尤其自2008年歐巴馬上任以來，顯著提升。無人飛機攻擊模糊化了戰爭與暗殺的區隔，規避了國家軍事機器所應受的合法監督，讓國家高層得以任意殺戮。所謂草菅人命，莫此為甚。

park chan-wook 的電影都很存在主義。""存在""(being)這種越是說不上來的東西，越難形諸影像聲音或文字。還記得蒙田那個故事嗎？一個成就非凡的貴族藝術家，在作品中歌頌那些跟他的生活相差十萬八千里的美好人事。他底下的男女佣人，對這位才華出眾的主人仰慕得不得了，但這卻反倒帶給主人一種很深的挫折與自貶，因為他的作品中所歌頌的對象恰恰是這些不識幾個大字的僕人們。
stoker的主題曲很好聽，覺得不好聽的可以來跟我退票。這曲子名字很長，叫 ""I am not formed by things that are of myself alone."" 光是這句話就夠可悲了。我們不可能選擇自己是什麼、將變成什麼，就像電影中說的，花朵亦無從選擇自己的顏色。我們能做的大概就只是認清自己是何種生物，然後選擇要不要盡量愉悅地順服上天的這項安排。
